Hi Centennial High teachers,

1. Congratulations on your success at Saturday's Meet 0 of the Compton-Inglewood League!  Delta Tech won 1st place in the Robot Game, and Alpha Tech earned the Strategy and Innovation Award.  Very impressive!

2. We saw that the tournament gripped and motivated your students, as we knew it would.  Everyone's first FIRST event always does this.

This new excitement will lead to more interest on campus.  We encourage you to keep an open door for new students, especially girls.

3. Here is a quick slide show of the Meet highlights, please spend just 3 minutes and look through these:

4. Looking ahead!  The next 3 League Meets are Dec. 3, Dec. 17 and Jan. 14.  Dec. 3 is scheduled for Compton High again, the remaining locations are up for grabs.  Arrive before 10 AM, done around 4 PM.  The season finale (Inter-League Tournament) is Jan. 28 at Diamond Ranch High School in Pomona; plan for 8 AM to 7 PM.  FTC is a year-round program; teams spend the spring semester working on further skill development, and training new recruits.
