How to...

 

Check Out Books

  • Library Card: Student must present a valid school ID to check out materials.
  • Book Check Out: Student may borrow up to five (5) books per library/ID card but no more than two (2) books per subject. Magazines and reference materials do not leave the library.
  • Loan Period: 14 days
  • Renewals: Most materials may be renewed twice if there are no outstanding requests on the item.
  • Overdue Fees: There is no overdue fee for late returns; however, student may not borrow additional items until those items are returned.
  • Damaged/Lost Materials: Per our Principal Dr. Harris, the library will no longer accept any form of payment except for a book replacement. Please replace the lost or damaged book with the same exact title AND author OR refer to the ISBN of the book. Book must be in hardcover, no paperbacks! Purchase can be made through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or the bookstore of your choice. Book/s must be in good to new condition.
  • Notification: The Library sends notices to parents/guardian requesting the student to return the material borrowed or if damaged/lost, replace the book. Overdue to lost material is twenty-eight (28) days.

 

Access the Computer

Computers are available to conduct research using the Internet for one (1) period only. Internet Use Policy applies. Computers will be shut off fifteen (15) minutes prior to closing.

  • Login: Use your Student ID # and password.
  • First-time User: Username will be the first letter of your first name, first letter of your last name, student ID #. Password will be the same as your username. Once logged in, make sure to change your password by pressing CTRL + ALT + DEL and click “Change a password.”
  • Forgot Password: Please ask Library Staff or Faculty to reset your password and provide your Student ID # and birthday. Log back in with your username and the password given to you by staff/faculty. Make sure to change your password by pressing CTRL + ALT + DEL. Save the changes.
